Mrs Kajero Adeyinka Adejisola (nee Adefelu) RN RM RPHN BNSc MSC is the Director, Nursing Services of Ondo State Primary Health Care Development Agency. She was born to late Prince David Adeyeye Adefelu of Jegun of Aleyejimoko royal family of Ile-oluji Kingdom and Mrs Patience Oluyomi Adefelu (Nee Awojobi of Ikereku Abeokuta).
She attended the following Institutions:
St. Jude Anglican Primary School Ilasamaja road, Lagos and then proceeded to Gboluji Anglican Grammar School Ile-oluji where she came out in flying colours. she attended St. Louis school of Midwifery Owo in Ondo state (RM) and proceeded to school of Nursing Lagos University Teaching Hospital Idi-Araba (RN). she also obtained certificate of Family Planning from Margaret Sanger institute of Family Planning Maryland USA. She was certified as a Community Health Officer in West Africa. She also obtained Bachelor of Nursing Science (BNSc).
She has Certificate of achievement on HIV Counseling and Testing by Center for clinical Care and Clinical Research (CCCRN), Certificate of Competence in long Acting and Reversible Contraceptives (LARC) by Marie Stopes, Certificate of Leadership and Managment in Health professional Development, University of Washington, Certificate of Advanced Management Training for 21st Century leaders.
She is married to a wonderful husband The Rev'd Engr Olusegun Olaitan Kajero and blessed with wonderful and God fearing Children.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE DEPARTMENT OF NURSING SERVICES
Department of Nursing in the Agency is a member of the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria Committee Ondo State Chapter.
1)The department is responsible for leading, directing and supervising Nursing program and procedures.
2)It is also responsible for the development of Nurses and Midwives through capacity building, coaching, mentoring and supportive Supervision to maintain standards and competence in practice.
3)It also maintain discipline within the profession ensuring mandatory continuous professional development program for renewal of Licence.
4) It also helps in the Clinical placement and supervision of Nursing students from various universities to the communities.
