Pharmacist Sajo Grace is the Director, Pharmaceutical services of Ondo State Primary Health Care Development Agency.. She has been representing OSPHCDA at the state procurement and supply chain management technical working group committee meeting. She also represent OSPHCDA at the ondo state health sector annual operation plan organized by smoh and co-sponsored by UNICEF.
 
The Pharmacy unit of Ondo State Primary Health Care Development Agency was created in 2015.The unit is saddled with the responsibility of receiving drugs and medical consumables from federal central medical centers and distributing same to all health facilities in the state. Also the unit is to ensure that best pharmaceutical practices are adhered to at the various health facilities.
 
DEPARTMENT OBJECTIVES
(1)To ensure that technical staff are adequate and are evenly distributed to Mann each pharmacy in all the health facilities at the Primary health care level.
(2)To ensure that quality and affordable drugs are available at all times in our health centers.
(3)To ensure that all drug handlers are well trained such as Pharmacist, Pharm. Technicians, and all those that handles drugs at the primary health care level.
(4)To monitor and supervise Pharmacists, Pharm technicians and other drug handlers.
(5) To ensure that expired drugs are promptly removed from the canters and are disposed of successfully according to national protocol.
(5)To collate all drugs consumed at all the Local government council monthly.
(6)To develop uniform and standardized pharmaceutical practice in collaboration with Ondo State Ministry of Health.
(7) To give health talk to the populace on drug related matters.
 
STRATEGIES :-
(1) To participate in integrated supportive supervision to the health facilities pharmacy in the LGAs.
(2)To give on the job training during monitoring and supervision activities.
(3)To organize training and workshop for Pharmacists, Pharm. Technicians, and all Pharmacy aids.
(4)To participate in Logistic Management Coordinating unit activities. (LMCU)
(5)To ensure that all Pharmacy registers are available at the health facilities and are used correctly.
(6)To participate in mass media campaign.
